ISLAMABAD: Local court in Islamabad has extended bail of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue
Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for six
more days in liquor and weapons recovery case.
Session judge Sohail Ikram heard the Gandapur’s case which was presented before the court.
During the hearing, lawyer told the court that arms which were confiscated from h
is client’s car were official and the licenses have also been provided to the police.
The judge expressed resentment over investigation officers for registering the case under section 140. He also asked why an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) is investigating a minister’s case.
Subsequently, Justice Sohail ad
journed the case till December 8 by summoning Station House Officer (SHO) Bhara Kaho.
Earlier on October 30, security personnel claimed to have recovered five Kalashnikov rifles, magazines, tear gas gun, alcohol bottle and 50 slaughtered partridges from Gandapur‘s car near Bani Gala.
